Jim Millar

Jim is Business Owners International's Manufacturers' Mastermind Alliance facilitator. 

Jim joined the BOI team in 2011 as our primary Manufacturers' Mastermind Alliance facilitator.  Together, Jim and Bill have built a strong group of CEOs of manufacturing companies across the United States. 

Jim is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of financial and business expertise plus extensive management and business development experience as a senior executive with both large and earlier stage companies.  Mr. Millar has advised, managed or led over 40 business transactions with an aggregate value of over $1 billion.  His expertise includes private placement of debt and equity, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, international transactions, valuation services, business formation, strategic planning and corporate finance.  Jim has worked closely with private held manufacturing, distribution and services companies with improving operating performance and profitability of the business.  

Jim’s previous experience includes the role of General Manager of this $20 million division of a multi-national healthcare company.   He was also the Vice President of Operations for a $10 million manufacturer of a patented medical product line, where his responsibilities included the oversight of all operational functions including production planning, inventory management, quality control, customer service and personnel management.
